Doctor Sleep

The guys just saw Doctor Sleep, the direct sequel to The Shining (1980). We meet up with Danny Torrance almost 40 years after the events at the Overlook Hotel. He meets a young girl who also shares his gift of "Shining". Together they must fight against a group of soul suckers who call themselves the True Knot. Terminator: Dark Fate

The guys review the new "Terminator: Dark Fate". Sarah Connor is back for the first time since T2, and this time she finds herself back in a similar situation as before. You'll see some old faces in this new installment, but it doesn't quite deliver the same experience as the first 2 films.

The Lighthouse

The Fiends just saw The Lighthouse. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Robert Eggers (The Witch), this surreal film tells the story of 2 Lighthouse Keepers, working and living on an isolated island. The 2 men try desperately to control their sanity and not lose their minds during their stay. This film has so many elements and details that it would be too hard to explain the entire movie in a few sentences. If you have not seen The Lighthouse, warning... SPOILERS

 The Fiends just saw a screening of Rob Zombie's new sequel to The Devil's Rejects and House of 1000 Corpses, 3 from Hell... This was a highly anticipated film in the horror community, and its predecessors have gone on to become Cult Classics. So the guys could not wait to see this movie.

 Otis, Baby, and Captain Spaulding are back to raise hell and inflict as much pain as humanly possible on the world. It turns out they did not die at the end of the last movie...

 There are a few weird choices and stunning surprises Zombie decided to include in his film. The fiends will let you know what they thought, and tell you why it might not be able to live up to it's previous installments.

Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark

Hollywood has finally brought the classic book series, that scared the hell out of us when we were young, to the big screen, "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark" 

 The movie weaves together a few stories from the terrifying "children's" books from the 1980's. Guillermo del Toro serves as executive producer, with Andre Ovredal (Trollhunter and The Autopsy of Jane Doe) directing. The trailers showed a lot of promise (Practical Effects, Halloween time, etc..) But did it deliver on that promise?
